My poor Z is sick. Even as I sit here and type this, he is laying beside me asleep and sounding an awful lot like Darth Vader. While I am a huge Star Wars fan.....I don't like my baby breathing like that. I took him to the doctor yesterday because he seemed worse. His eyes were all red and puffy and glassy. He has his first ear infection and sore throat. So, he gets to take that yummy bubble gum flavored Amoxicillin now. The doctor said it would take a couple of days to see a difference in him.....so I'm expecting a miracle tomorrow! Come on antibiotics....do your thing!
I did get him to eat some veggies for dinner.....well, at least some made it into his mouth anyway! (that is corn on his nose...not a boogie)
I had an unwelcome guest last night!!!! Its pretty sad when I saw him and thought "Gross!" then thought "I must take a picture of him for my blog."
Apparently these suckers are infesting my house. This one was in the bathtub.....so it was easy enough to wash him down the drain. But I was getting out of the bathtub last night and was walking into my bedroom when I saw one run across the floor. Let me just say that I am SERIOUSLY arachnophobic!!! They give me the heebee jeebies!! I screamed louder and more high pitched than Jamie Lee Curtis in a slasher movie! I was wondering where one of my big lazy cats were - when all of a sudden my fluffy little Anakin came to my rescue. (Pretty cool how I referenced a Star Wars character TWICE in one post in 2 different stories.) Anyhoo...Anakin came flying up behind me...caught the spider in his mouth...chewed it up a bit...and left me the dead carcass. Well, YUCK!!! But.....to me, the only thing better than no spider - is a dead spider.
So, I finally called the bug people....but they can't get here for a couple more weeks!

By then it really could be Arachnophobia II.
Ok, that was a pretty boring post I guess.....sorry...I don't have anything else! I'm tired because I stayed up late last night painting on a coffee table because I had been reading Kimba's blog yesterday and looking at everything she refinished and it made me feel all lazy and inferior inspired me.
Addendum to this post:
The lights are out and I was getting ready to go to bed.
I got up to use the bathroom and stepped on something!!!!
I squealed and jumped and turned on the light!!!!
It was just a piece of Anakin's dog food!!!
Uggghh!!! I swear I'm gonna dream about spiders tonight!
I HATE spiders!!!!!
(but I LOVE exclamation points!!!)

Spiders are the scariest damn creatures in the universe!!! AHHHH!!! Just thinking about them gives me the creeps!!! I love exclamation points too!!!!
YUCK! Oh how I have spiders, In Utah we get these ones called Hobo spiders. Every year all the exterminators send out flyers on all the bad things they can do to you, they probobly make so stinkin much money. Your can has an awesome name, glad he came to your rescue.
