Dara got a new swingset this summer and Zander finally got to go play with her.
These are 2 VERY different kids.
One is gung ho - living life with no fear at 90 miles per hour.
The other one is quite cautious - eventually getting to 90 miles per hour.....but has to work there slowly.
Can you tell which one is which?

As always, if you'd like to participate in this week's Friday Foto Finish Fiesta, or if you just want to look at more pictures, head on over to Candid Carrie's and check it out!

I love how your captured that one facet of his personality. Kids find their way...in their time. I personally, have a 0 to 90 mph in 2.5 second kind of girl. Pray for me...often:-)
Just FYI - it's my experience that those who are like Z when they are little turn out to be the biggest dare-devils when they're about 8... just... preparing you.
thats so cute, he will outgrow this phase quickly... next summer your going to look back on this as him being cautious... :D
They will make a cute couple...unless they are related and then not-so-much! But, they are both adorable!
Side note...Wasn't the DNC wonderful?
Z is the cutest littel fella ever. Pretty soon you won't be able to contain the amount of energy and gung ho that he will have.
Oh they are so cute! Z looks all serious in a couple of shots, serious little man!
Happy Friday.
Love it, those are the cutest pictures!!!
Oh what a cute set of pictures!!
Thanks for sharing.
Those are great pix. I especially love the stick up hair shot.
Great pictures I just adored that age!
Swingsets nowadays ROCK! The one I had when I was a kid was so boring compared to the one my kids have! It was just 2 swings and a metal slide!
Cute pics... love the one showing Dara's static hair!
Wow--what an amazing playset! I don't blame him for being nervous playing on it for the first time. He's so cute!!
P.S. I can't wait for the apple butter recipe!
Z has to be careful, we can't risk any damage to those dimples!
How funny! LOVE the pic with the little one's hair standing up thanks to static! Too cute!
What great photos!! They look like they are having such a great time.
I like the static photo!
That's some swing set Dara has!!
I love the "death grip" Zander has on the way down the slide...it looks like he was able to warm up and enjoy himself!
The Dara pic with static is great!
Both of mine are the 90mile a minute kids, unless they just aren't feeling well. Looks like fun.

Being cautious is a good thing. My friend's little boy is so fearless, and he gets hurt ALL THE TIME.
I'd much rather have your cautious Z than my daredevil Livers. Yesterday's adventure entailed going headfirst over a gate to retrieve a toy she threw. Be glad he likes to test the waters! It'll prevent many headaches.
Just wanted to let you know i voted for Z!!
OMG I want that swing set...I still want Zander and I love the little girls hairdo. We could be good friends with hair that matches :?
I didn't want to bother you yesterday, but I have something for you, come see me.
Hi...good guesses but no... about Where's Ronda?
I think McCain's VP is an excellent choice! He already has security taken care of by himself, that's why Obama chose Biden. By choosing a woman...he can separate woman of my age (50 or older) from our party...it's sad but true, some of us are still stingin' from the lack of a woman in the oval office! At least us old liberal ladies!
My oldest is like that too! She get to 90 mph but it is going to take her a while. She is shy and afraid to do a lot of things at first, but once she gets going she doesn't stop! Looks like he had a fun day!
I think it must be a 1st child vs 2nd child thing because mine are the same way! I love the pics and am envious of the swing set!
I voted for Zander! Hope he gets the prize. These are great pixes--I especially love the pensive look on Z's face!
He looks so overwhelmed, but in a good way. What a cutie!
Thank you for sharing it, and LOVE the swingset.
Oh, and went and voted for Zander, let us know!
Oh --- he's so cute!! He's a lot like Caleb -- want's to watch someone else do it first...
Aw...HOW CUTE! Love the one of the hair sticking up too!
I have one of each. My oldest was one that had to totally take it all in first...observe. Then she was good to go. My youngest just jumps right in. I always have band-aids in my pocket! ;D
heissocute!
