Tids-N-Bits & a Giveaway- 2

Zander is such an awesome kid! Have I said that before? Because its true!!! We spent the whole weekend at home.....because I had to feed my addiction.....of finishing up the Twilight Series. Well, okay...so I didn't finish it - but I'm almost there. I was almost 200 pages into New Moon as of Friday afternoon.....I finished the book Saturday morning. Then I started Eclipse.....I finished it Sunday morning!!!! As of Sunday evening....I'm about halfway through Breaking Dawn. I seriously.cannot.put.the.books.down! Ok, so I put them down long enough to eat, pee, and make sure Zander is still alive. He has been so good. More than I can or should ask of a toddler. He's been tearing up the house of course, but nothing permanent. He lets me know when he wants some 'Mommy & Z' time. But there haven't been any tantrums (well, okay, I had one when he opened some nail polish).....but other than that...my Z is an angel. I just want the world (okay, at least my peeps in blogland) to know how wonderful he is.

On that same note....I think Zander may be part werewolf.....he's not hairy mind you...but he is soooo hot!!!! I can't sleep right next to him because he is such a little heater!

Ok, so Z and I are driving home from the store Sunday (had to go buy Breaking Dawn). I looked in my rearview mirror at my wonderful son (see 1st paragraph at wonderfulness). And for the first time ever I see him 1. Stick his finger in his nose. 2. Pull his finger out. 3. Study his prize. 4. Eat it!

Gross!!! A new phase has begun!!!

So this next weekend should be much busier. I start bowling Friday night. Its just our first meeting and a practice....but I haven't bowled in over 2 years! I see a lot of gutter balls in my future.

I also take my first sewing class this weekend. I have a couple of friends that can sew anything and it makes me jealous inspires me to be able to make something too. So, in the sewing class we are making a tote. We'll see how that turns out.

My nephew, Joey, is turning 17 on Wednesday! Man, he grew so fast! We're having a family party for him on Sunday....so hopefully I get cake!

So, some other blogs I check out daily belong to AllMediocre. I went to the site to check it out when one of my blogfriends was featured. It looked a like a nice site....a good place to check out other blogs and such. So, I followed all the instructions and emailed them to ask them to add me to their blog list and I put one of their buttons on my blog. Then I waited and waited.....and waited. I emailed them again...maybe they didn't get my first email. Ok, so maybe they didn't get my second one either.....because I waited again. Ok, I can tell I'm not wanted. I can handle rejection. After I got done crying about not being even mediocre....I removed their button.

There is also a cool new blogsite to check out called Blog Around the World. Thanks to Debbie's brilliant idea, now bloggers can check out other blogs regionally...in case you want to know why someone is at the beach and you're not...or why they are eating squirrel for dinner and that seems good to them...but not because you are an actual stalker....cuz that's not cool. Debbie is also having a contest to launch this new blog and you could win a $50 gift card from either Target or Macy's. Sound pretty cool? Well, that's because it is, of course! So click on this button and check it out!

Oh boys and their boogers. Gross. I can't tell you how many talks I have had in the past with my two. I think it's just a phase they all go through. Ewww it gives me chills.

Anyways I hope you win the contest. Not because you stink or anything just because I think you should win. lol

Aww, little Z has entered a new phase of childhood! You should do a scrapbook page.

I'm trying to teach myself how to sew. Like, with a machine. I'm working on an outfit for my Emily right now that I'll probably have finished just in time for her first child.

Yes Z is perfect and yes he and John Deere's pheasant girl would make a beautiful couple. I hope you win lots of goodies. Hey can you tell me the order in which I should buy the books? They had one of them in our grocery store, but I think it is the second one. I can't start in the middle can I?

Meghan from A Mom Two Boys runs Allmediocre. She is a super busy woman, but I am sure she'll email you back. She has had some drama lately - her baby boy went crossed eye! But they just got him glasses, so I am sure their life we be back to normal soon.

Porgie eats her boogers too. Kids are gross!

Hopefully for your sake, Zander is out of the booger stage fast...so disgusting isn't it?!

I LOVE that picture in your previous post. Oh! He's adorable!
My son's booger stage passed quickly. Unfortunately, now he likes to stick his finger...never mind! TMI
Have fun with the bowling. I know what you mean about growing up fast. I just registered my oldest for his sophomore year. **weep**
