Green Contest & a Meme!!!

So, my friend, Tricia @ Zoo So Silly is having a giveaway!!! Its pretty cool the way she is doing this because you earn extra entries for saying something nice about one of your friends. The prize if you win is a cleaning product from Better Life. They make environmentally friendly cleaners.....made in the USA and some even here in our hometown of St. Louis!

She tried these out and really likes them. So, I would love to win seeing as I have a dog, 2 cats and an active toddler.....who doesn't need a household cleaner around here!!!!

I have been blessed with many wonderful people, family and friends, in my life that help me out every day. And I truly thank God for them everyday as well. But, that being said, the friend I would like to nominate to win along with myself, if I should be the lucky winner, is Ligouri. I've known Ligouri since I was about 13 or 14 years old. She and my sister met while they were working together and since have become best friends. Over the years, Ligouri has become a good friend to the rest of my family as well. She is the special friend who recently gave Zander the awesome swingset I posted about yesterday. Not only am I grateful that she would think of my Zander and do something for him that so clearly made him EXTREMELY happy....but it was a blessing for me as well because this is something I really wanted Zander to be able to have during his childhood. It just goes to show how wonderful God is putting people in your life. He just seems to always make a way. Aside from the swingset, Ligouri is just a really great person. She is a single mom raising 3 very handsome boys. She has been through a lot and remains one of the nicest and happiest people I know. Anywhoo.....with 3 boys....and a small Pomeranian named Eve....well, she could use a bottle of cleaner for her house too, I'm sure.

1. Who is your celebrity boyfriend? Oh, this is easy.....Orlando Bloom. I mean seriously....he is such a beautiful specimen of a human being....and he picks up stray animals....I mean, what isn't there to love?????

2. What is your favorite blog to read? Hmmmm......don't ya'll get mad at me.....but I'm gonna say Bob Cesca's blog......because he is a loud mouth Democrat and he brings things to light you may not always catch in the news. He writes for Huffington Post a lot as well. He does live blogging during debates....which are HILARIOUS!!! Plus, he rescued a pug with special needs....and that made me want to marry him.....although he is already married and has kids.....so I will just stay away and respect him from a distance. ;)



3. What is your "secret weapon"....something you love but couldn't live without? I would say my faith in God....because I can't live without it....but that is no secret...so....Excedrin....I'm addicted and quite honestly can no longer function without it. I fear I will one day die from an aneurysm.....damn headaches.



4. Will you see the Twilight movie when it comes out? Absolutely, I'm going with Tricia.......we're ditching the kids for the night.....Woooo Hooo!!!



5. Favorite books (besides Twilight series): Well, that's easy too. The Harry Potter series! I've read them all several times....J.K. Rowling has me hooked....what an imagination! I also like the Alex Cross books by James Patterson and anything by Jennifer Crusie! The most recent one I read of Jennifer's was Anyone But You!!! It made me laugh so hard!!! Hilarious! It is a quick read.....which is a must for me if I'm going to get to read these days.
