Last Sunday, October 5th, my parents celebrated their 45th Anniversary!!!
Wow! That's a lot of years!
My sister and BIL took them to Elephant Rock Park after church to take pictures. (Um, the park has huge rocks you can climb on....not safe for little guys like Z....so we didn't go).
Meanwhile, back at my parent's house, my niece and I left them this to surprise them when they got home.
This was not easily done with 2 toddlers around. Zander wanted the balloons and Dara wanted the cake.

Elephant Rocks is a great place to spend time together on an anniversary! I just stopped by from SITS and when I saw the picture of your parents at Elephant Rocks I just had to say something. What a great couple, and they've obviously got a great daughter!

In this day and time marriages that last that long are few and far between, my parents will celebrate their 41 anniversary this Nov. and I'm so proud of them as I know you are of your parents.
