Hodge Podge

Zander went for his 2 year check up last weekend.
Here are his stats:
weight: 35.2 lbs (over 97%...off the charts)
height: 35.5 in (80%)
Everything is good with Z. Dr. Q would like for him to drink less juice and more milk....some milk...any milk. So, we're trying....Z hasn't been a fan of milk ever since I took his bottle away. But he loves cheese, so he's still getting his calcium.
She said I could start having him brush his teeth....I told her he's been doing that for months. He loves to brush his teeth.....or at least eat his baby toothpaste.
He can have a little toddler toothpaste with fluoride now too though.
I asked Dr. Q about his tantrums....apparently I just have to go with the flow....ignore the tantrums. I asked her if I could give him Midol...she said no, but that I could take them to help me through his tantrums.
And, I started him on vitamins. I bought him some Disney's Cars gummi vitamins. He LOVES them.....but wants more than the 2 he supposed to have per day.
He did really well with his shots...he didn't cry. He did demand his cookie afterwards however (he remembered they have those at the front desk when we leave).
Grandma has been to garage sales again...I swear...my house is overrun with toys.
So, here is how he watches tv now:

And she got him this little kitchen......which he loves....
She lucked out with the kitchen...she got it for $1....it was cold that day and I guess the lady just wanted to be done with her garage sale....so she gave my mom all these "play" dishes with it too.....it turns out...they are Tupperware Toys and Pampered Chef dishes.....
Here is one of the little Tupperware cups.....
Nice pink, huh?
Here he wanted more.....
During his bath the other night I put a big pile of bubbles on his head......
I don't think he even noticed.....

Too funny. SO glad Z is growing to be a little man with the whole teeth brushing and cooking in his kitchen thing.

Score on the kitchen!
I was sitting her totally laughing because I could have written this post myself.
My toddler has been in the 90-95th percentile since like 6 months. LOL AND...I just took bath pix yesterday with bubbles on the head. HeeHee!
He's such a doll!!

I cannot believe how big he is getting! And what a sweetie! About the milk thing, my son doesn't like white milk either so I started putting Ovaltine in it a couple of years ago because it has way more nutritional value than chocolate milk (which is basically liquid candy bars). He loves it. that might be worth trying. Also, the whole teethbrushing thing is always a battle. My friend is a dentist, and she told me that we should brush our kids teeth for them until about age 6! Let them do it for a couple of seconds then we should get in there and brush real well for them. I use to battle my son with this all the time...he just wanted to suck all the toothpaste off the toothbrush. When we went to the more minty big boy tooth paste he stopped...It's always something isn't it!

What a big boy! 35 pounds! Porgie was a mere 28 pounds at her 2 year visit. Those new toys look fun. We are jealous.

And in the 120th percentile for cuteness! Definitely off the charts!

We have that exact same kitchen! It's used to store dinosaurs in. (I guess they went extinct from being microwaved.)
