Zander's birthday party was a week ago last Sunday. It was a warm 75 degrees here in St. Louis on that day. Zander still wasn't feeling well then and the party was during his naptime, so at first he was a little overwhelmed by all of the people at his house. But he soon warmed up to it and ended up having a great time.
Because of the nice weather, we were able to have the party outside. Who would have thought that would be possible in November....in St. Louis. I certainly didn't think it was....as I had made him a long sleeved tshirt to wear at the party that said "I am 2". Its still in the closet....
My sister took the pictures at the party and she used her camera during the first part of the party. So, I should have those pics before Zander turns 3 and will post those when I get them.
She used my camera during the opening of the presents and the cake....so here they are.....
The cake....I highly recommend that if one decides to make the cake themselves, they start the cake before 9:30 pm the night before....or it makes for a REALLY long night....

The birthday boy.....special note: I did NOT want him to wear this shirt. He spent the night at my mom's house the night before, this is what he wore home that day and REFUSED to change clothes before the party. It is a nice shirt though...huh?
