Tids-N-Bits - 15

Well, the holiday season is officially underway.....I cannot find a parking spot anywhere I go!!!

I haven't done any shopping yet! There was nothing on sale on Black Friday worth getting out for...I had to work anyway, so I slept in as long as I could. Thankfully, I only had to work a 1/2 day.

Unfortunately, I did go out Saturday to Target.....I needed diapers and wipes!!! What a pain....you can't even just run in for staples you need anymore!!!

My Mom and I tried to go out to lunch on Saturday. Zander would. not. behave!!!! I took him to the bathroom twice to "have a talk with him" and he would not sit still. I finally had to just take him out to the car. Ugggh.....days like that are soooo frustrating! I know he understands what we say to him now....he just won't listen.

Unfortunately for him, we always do expect more out of him because he looks so much older than he is.....and sometimes he acts it too!

I finally ordered our Christmas cards. Geez, it was soooo stressful.....trying to pick the perfect card and the perfect pictures. I always have to do a card with multiple pictures because I started out doing the photo cards with just my pets on them....and it used to just be 2 dogs. Since then, the pets have changed over the years and now there is Zander. There's no way I can get a toddler, a dog and 2 cats in a picture together.....without some sort of team to help me anyway. This is also the first year that I'm actually on the card too...I usually don't put my picture on it.

I've seen others showing their Christmas cards....so here is what ours will look like this year!

I didn't get any writing on it either because I got these from Costco and they don't let you choose your font or colors....but they are SUPER cheap....and these cards are huge too.....6 x 7 1/2. And, they will be ready today....no shipping charges.

Now, we'll just have to find a parking spot!

I'm off Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week!!!! Yaaaay!!! I've got a couple of things planned for Zander and I to do.....none of it is shopping! Or eating out (I'm a little scared of a repeat performance right now)!

Hopefully we will get some naps in though!

On Sunday, St. Louis got its first official snow of the season! It was a heavy dusting basically and was almost gone by the evening time. Zander and I stayed home all day.....in our jammies.....and ate and ate and ate....oh, and took a nap!

Gas had gotten down to $1.38 here on Thanksgiving Day....but then shot up to $1.59 for no apparent reason.....and is now slowly falling again. I'm so tired of it going up and down. How can anyone budget for that?
