Zander,
Yesterday, Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States. If you've listened to me at all or read any of my other posts before this one - then you know how excited I am about this. (all, I know he is 2 and can't read...but this blog is for him so he will read it one day)

I was at work yesterday, but a tv was set up in the cafeteria. A bunch of my fellow coworkers and I gathered around and watched him take the oath of office. His speech was amazing. The amount of people that gathered to watch in person was definitely awesome. It was freezing cold, but over a million people gathered anyway.
Where were you during this moment of history?

Well, you were at Grandma's house. According to her, you and Dara were upstairs "cleaning" - I use that term very loosely, honey. You said you were cleaning...but really you just had a broom - and who knows if you actually swept anything or not.
Everyone else,
So where were you during this moment in history?

Esme loves cleaning, too! Seems symbolic in this case. I love how we're documenting history with our blogs... :)
I know you have to work and all...but did you see on the Today Show, there were enough people at the inauguration yesterday that you could see it from space? That is amazing! It is going to be a good and happy year.
I had a few errands & appointments in the am but set my Tivo and rushed everyone along just in time to see him take the oath. The rest of the day I sat in from of the tv in awe.
I was sitting next to you in the cafeteria. ;)
I tried to watch a little here and there all day BUT Wow, Wow Wubzy and Yo Gabba Gabba apparently were a bigger priority. Well, not really BUT I really wanted to remain headache free!
I watched recaps late into the night once the wee one was sleeping!
Oh! I did your interview! Check it out...
I was watching intensely, while cuddling two sick babies.
It is so sweet for you to record this for Z:-)
Did you see the picture of the crowd that was taken from space? I saw it on the Today Show and it was pretty cool:-)
