So, do we get to take 'sick days' on blogs? Because yesterday was a sick day. It seems I was overwhelmed by a case of Vertigo the night before last. I've been doped up on Dramamine since then....it makes you sleepy.....I forgot about that.
Anyway, here are a few things that have been going through my mind lately....
- When you burn the noodles for mac n cheese it smells similar to a burnt pancake. I learned this little gem of information a few days ago....
- Early in the morning, during that time again when I'm half asleep and half awake, I sometimes here Zander giggling in his sleep. It is the cutest sound. I wonder what he is dreaming about....
- I HATE the smell of microwave popcorn - it smells like dirty butt. (Yes, unfortunately, I do know what that smells like as I've spent a week out in the field doing training exercises with no availability to a shower.....I tried using a handi-wipe.....that is ineffective after the 3rd day). Which brings up my next question....
- I finished watching Band of Brothers again the other day. How is it that soldiers who fought in hot places couldn't just smell the enemy?
- Jaaaaack is baaaaack!!!! I did a 4 hour marathon of 24 last night to catch up on the new season! Funny thing.....one of the guys that keeps briefing the president on the show played on Band of Brothers (he played Bill Guarnere - he lost his lower leg in Bastogne...trying to rescue one of his men who had just lost his leg too). Small world! Wait.....this reminds me of 6 degrees of separation....except this one is tooo easy....Guy in Band of Brothers on 24 with Kiefer Sutherland.....Kiefer in the movie A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon.....done!
- I have a headache...I'm thinking being on the computer isn't going to help that.....

Band of Brothers? Ugh. That is a long running joke in my house because I swear it is on all.the.damn.time and my husband LOVES it and watched it every single time. Me? Notsomuch.

And Z giggling in his sleep? I can't even imagine how adorable that sounds! My husband does that sometimes...but when he does it, it's just creepy. I have never heard my kids do it, though. So cute!
The smell of microwave popcorn doesn't bother me... but when I worked in an office, it did get a tad old smelling it every single day... one lady I worked with ate a bag every. single. day.
I hope you feel better! Hubby and I watched 24 for the first time...we can't decide if we like it or not? We will keep watching!

1. I SO love Jack! Chloe is as annoying as ever and now they have Janis to bug me equally!
2. The smell of butt popcorn will haunt me for the rest of the day!
3. Lulu giggles in her sleep to and I love, love, love it! It is the best sound ever!

Dirty Butt... I have never had microwave popcorn, always do mine the old fashioned way in a cast iron skillet with a lid with real butter. Maybe they use real butt?
Erick used to giggle in his sleep, right before he wet the bed! I often wondered too.
You can't smell the enemy, but you can smell your buddies, that way you know not to shoot.

Vertigo is the worst thing. I have had it a couple of times and you feel just miserable from it. I hope you are completely recovered.

I just hate the IDEA of microwave popcorn. And you should tape the giggling. Might could use it as blackmail later? Or else, it would be nice to have, huh?
Maybe vertigo is what I am suffering from too. I have been soooo dizzy the last few days, but because our education budget got cut, we only have 1 sick day for the rest of the year. I could always take a personal day and let them deduct money from my check to pay for the sub.
Every once in a while one of the kids laughs in their sleep. It is too precious. I'm already looking forward to the good morning loving I get when I wake them up every morning.
