So, I'd like to recount a few funny moments from this past weekend.
Friday night, Zander and I went out to eat with my parents at Steak N Shake after work. Zander was really tired as he had not had a nap that day....so he was a little rowdy at the table. He got mad a few times....like when I wouldn't let him add any sugar to his shake. He finally settled down and it turned out to be not so bad.
Later that night, he had a poopy diaper. As I opened the diaper, I not only found the poopy.....but a Sweet N Low packet! Now, how did that get in there?

Saturday, I took Zander to get some new shoes. He still has chubby feet so we still have to get StrideRites.....XtraWide, thank you very much! Afterwards, we were driving to my mom's house so we could show her the new shoes. I was behind this car with 2 bumper stickers on it. One was:

Ok, cool!
The other one was:

Nice play on words!
But, when the car turned I did not expect to see a woman that had to at least be in her 80s driving that car. I mean, wouldn't you expect a high school teen or a college student. Nope, it was an elderly woman with gray hair. Go Grandma! She gave me quite a chuckle.
Ok, so I know milkweed is for the monarch butterflies...but that is so not where my mind went.

Last week Zander (I guess) thought it would be interesting to stick one of his plastic spoons into a fan. It made an awful noise and he jumped back! He turned and looked at me all shocked and I said "It scared the crap out of you, didn't it?"
His response....."CRAP!"
Oh well...I guess it could have been worse...

Ok, so I know more funny things were said, but "mommy brain" has kicked in again and I should have written them down when I actually remembered them.
So, I'll just show you his new shoes....

Sweet and sh*tty?
Same great taste hlaf the fat?
Ok, I'm done
LOL
At least you found the packet in his diaper and NOT in his poo!
My little one had chubby feet too! Crocs have made our lives so easy! Easy on, easy off! And the fur lined ones are great in the winter.
OK it's the bad blogger catching up again...I love your tat's. I got one last year in honor of my dad. It is on the top of my foot, I.will.never.do.that.again!
I love Z's new runners, him eating peanut butter, and even sticking a spoon in the fan. Don't you love the looks on their faces when it scares the "crap" out of them? hahaha. The first time I gave my youngest a peanut butter sandwich he promptly stuck it in the vcr...it fit perfectly :(
LOVE the sweet n low packet. Too funny! And the extra wide feet? Yep...got 2 of those here myself. Well, three if you count me! :)
Don't you love it when they repeat what you say?! Just wait until you say "fuckinghell!" and they try to say it in your English accent and it comes out like "fockerell" but you know exactly what they are trying to say! Okay, well Z won't say it in an English accent of course, but it would be funny regardless!
