I know I asked that everyone sign a petition a few months ago to stop Aerial Hunting. I'm asking that you sign this petition as well. This one hones in a little more on Palin....who is largely responsible for this program in Alaska. Its barbaric and evil. It is not hunting. Hunting is when you eat what you kill. I don't know of anyone that eats wolves.....that would be very similar to eating a dog.
I'm gonna be totally honest....this whole practice really pisses me off. That we even have to work to stop this practice is lunacy in my opinion.
There are other way of keeping wolves from eating a farmer's livestock. I believe that is what dogs are used for....to keep predators at bay. Electric fences, maybe?
I just think this Aerial Hunting thing is being used as an excuse for people with planes and guns to go out and shoot something.
The petition states "This season alone, at least 52 wolves have been gunned down from planes in Alaska under this barbaric practice. Over 860 wolves have been killed in this aerial hunting program since 2003."
Take action now to help Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund stop Palin's aerial wolf-killing program.
This is also from the petition which I think is important to remember:
"Sarah Palin isn't fading into the background. And given her known political aspirations, it's important that we keep her in check for her extreme anti-conservation policies."

I'm not familiar with the program, but it does sound just awful and cruel!
I would like to aerial hunt Sarah Palin, but that isn't very Christian of me, is it? It would be fun though!
I signed! Thanks so much for bringing yet another great cause to our attention. And as for aerial hunting Sarah Palin...too skinny-don't think she'd have much taste, do you?
That sounds like the stupidest thing ever--why would anyone want to shoot a wolf from a plane???
