My little bowler

Last Friday night was sweepstakes night for my bowling league. I didn't bowl because we came in 4th and there was no roll off for us. So, I thought I would take Zander up to the bowling alley with me to see everyone since they really hadn't seen him since he was a little baby.

He was very shy at first and clung to me. Then my friend, Coco, bought him some chicken and fries to eat so he was all about that. He kept watching the other bowlers very closely and finally came up to me and said "Ball?"

I said "You want to bowl?"

Z - "Yes"

So I asked the nice lady at the counter if they could set up a lane for him. They put up the bumpers and gave him a bright pink 4lb ball with no holes to bowl with. She apologized to me about it being pink and I told her no worries...Zander loves pink! He's secure in his boyhood!

This first pic is my favorite. He is standing here with his hands on his hips watching where his ball goes.

The rest get blurry because it is with my camera phone and he is running......everywhere!!!!

I told him to pose with his ball....so this is the pose I got!

He took some lady's towel to wipe his ball....he's very observant....luckily she was very nice
(since he didn't exactly ask her if he could use her towel).

Here is my friend, Maurice helping Z get the ball down the lane....Z wasn't quite strong enough to get it down my himself.

Z had a great time. He picked up a couple of ladies while we were there too! They got him a couple of stuffed animals out of the machines and something something to drink. He basically just made his rounds to everyone at the bowling alley....apparently he is very social.

We'll definitely have to do this again!
