So, we are now entering day 3 of the lost Tivo remote. I'm really sad.....what if I don't find it? The good news is, I did figure out how to change the channels from the receiver itself. You would think it would be straightforward..like arrow up for channels to go higher, arrow down for channels to go lower. No, not so much. But the bad news is...if I don't find the remote my lazy butt is going to have to keep crouching down on the floor to change the channel....and I can't channel surf so easily and I CANNOT set up season passes to record once the new fall lineup starts. This is a BIG deal in my house....ok, I live with a baby and some animals...so its pretty much just a big deal to ME!
My Mom is watching Z at my house to day.....she is good at sniffing out lost things....she's like a hawk. So hopefully she will have some luck. By the time I left for work this morning she had already declared the remote to not be in the living room. My house is not big so it shouldn't take her long to declare the remote not in the house if she can't find it. Which means, tonight when I get home from work, I will have to do a more thorough search of my trash. (yuck, there are dirty diapers in there) :(
I can't believe I'm posting about my remote....this is what I've come to....this is what is important to me? (sigh)

Good luck! I swear that remotes have legs and hide themselves as a joke. Daily our goes missing. Usually between the edge of the couch and the cushion, but that has now become the first place I look.
So sorry to hear about the remote! That is a daily thing around here. When boys get older the remote gets stickier to their hands. They take it with them when they leave the room...I guess for fear that another testosterone person will get a hold of it and change the channel or somethin??? I did find it in MY purse the other day! I swear it wasn't me.
Sorry, that was me that deleted the post, I got impatient and pushed the button twice. Ooopsy.
TV is very important - what are you supposed to do in your free time? Read? Boring. You need mindless reality TV. I am kidding, but I am not.
If you makes you feel any better, I would definitely post about a missing remote in my house too.
