Zander loves books....I mean LOVES them! On Noggin, they say that you should read to your kids at least 20 minutes a day as it directly affects how they learn when they are older. Well, let me just say, at this rate, Zander should be Einstein when he grows up then. I think my mom reads to him at least 2 hours a day - not by choice, but because Zander insists on it!
As you can see in the photo below, he has even created a little reading nook for himself. He has Anakin's doggy bed to provide him with a comfortable sitting area and surrounds himself with all of his books.
This picture was taken a couple of days ago and he literally sat there for over an hour looking at his books.

I was that way when I was a kid too. Nothing made me happier that a big pile of books. I'm still that way. What an awesome picture.
Porgie loves "reading" and listening to books too, but I can't get Izzy to sit still for even a second.

My girls looooovvvee books, too. Every morning when Kendall wakes up she has a stack of books in bed with her. I think they are her security blanket. Although she has one of those too.

I'm a children's librarian...and Zander just made my day. I love when a child like him comes into my library. What a lucky little guy to have books in his life.
That's amazing! My daughter has really gotten into books and will pitch fits for them. I love when she'll run up to me and throw a book in my lap and say "READ!"
