Today's News - Read all about it!

• I've had a sinus headache for 3 days now. My ENT says its a type of Migraine I get, but it really hurts my sinuses. Nothing helps and I'm irritable. Don't you want to spend the holiday weekend with me? Sounds cheery, huh???

• My niece, Nikki, has had a rough year. She is in the middle of a divorce, just had her 2nd baby, Ella, in February, she works part time and is going to college. Well, she WENT to college anyway.....she just graduated from Webster University!!!! YAAAAY, Nikki! I don't know how she kept it together this year, but she did beautifully. I'm very proud of her for finishing this with everything that she went through and is still going through. She is a great mom and will be a great teacher. So, hopefully now she'll get a teaching job in the fall and she can start building a new life for her and her little family.

• In the town where my parent's live, there is a carnival with fireworks every year. It goes from like July 2nd through July 4th. Luckily for all of us, we can pretty much walk out their backyard and be at the carnival. Its pretty convenient if you're lazy (and we are). Plus, we can sit in their backyard and watch the fireworks. No traffic...no problem. So, my dad walked up to the carnival last night and brought us back a funnel cake....yummy!!!! It was the first one for Z and Dara and they seemed to like it (duh, what kid wouldn't!!!)

• Lastly, I converted Z's crib into a big boy bed for him yesterday. I'm not worried about him rolling out of it....because, seriously....when does he ever sleep in it? Well, that's not fair...he does take naps in his bed. My cousin is giving me a rail for it, so that will help.....

I handed him his new pillow yesterday (with the polka dots above) and said "Go put this on your bed." He hugged it and ran in the other room.....and put it on MY bed! Hmmm.....I'm thinking he didn't misundertand me either......little stinker!!!
