A Branch On My Family Tree - Fx4

Flashback to the 70's: This is a picture of my Dad, his mother and brothers and sisters.

My Grandma and 2 of my uncles are no longer with us. But, the rest of the family still tries to get together for a family reunion once a year.

In case anyone is wondering, my Dad is the first person on the left in the front row - wearing that super cool green leisure suit!!!

We meet at my Uncle Johnny Wayne's farm (Yes, guess who he is named after) and the brothers ride on horses and the sister's ride on a wagon to the cemetery where Grandma and Grandpa are buried. Then everyone rides back to the farm and we eat like nobody's business.

That family reunion for 2008 is tomorrow and I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone!!! :)

Now, go visit Candid Carrie to participate in the Friday Foto Fiesta Finish or just to see more pictures!!!

Have a great weekend!

Dude I can't get over how high their beehives are. I mean that had to take like a whole can of hairspray to get it up there like that. lol

Love the picture. Have a great time tomorrow.

What a great old photo. We have some like this in my family archives and it's always so neat to look back on (esp. the hair-dos!)

Love the photo! Have fun at the reunion today--will you be talking politics? Caught the debate last nite. Johnny Mac scares me. I like your guy, but I think we've already established that! BTW, Uncle Lynn's answering your questions over at my place today, in honor of my 100th Post. Please drop by!
