Z woke up early Thursday morning! Well, of course he did. Because I was off work and could have slept in.....oh well!
I figured he would take an early nap. Well, he started getting fussy at about 11:30.
Me: Z, are you tired?
Z: No.
Me: Do you want to take a nap?
Z: No
He got a second wind and trudged on. At about 1:00 I brought it up again.
Me: Do you want to take a nap?
Z: No
Me: Do you want to lay down with mommy?
Z: No (rubbing his eyes)
I let it go. About 2:30, I thought I'd ask again.
Me: Z, are you tired?
Z: No.
Me: Let's go lay down.... (can you tell I'm trying to get a nap out of this too?)
Z: No
This is what I found at about 2:45 in the middle of the living room floor......

Oh, I can't stand it, I've just got to EAT HIM UP! His dimple doesn't show when he's sleeping, but amazingly he's just as precious.

LOL - Essie fell asleep outside of her bed or car seat ONE TIME. She was sitting watching tv and literally just fell over.
Gert did it all the time. High chairs, swings, floor.. you name it.
He is SO dang adorable. have I ever mentioned that?

What a precious boy! Ned does this, he refuses to take a nap and it is worse when I am desperate for one. The other week I gave him such a full day and he didn't take a nap and while I was cooking dinner I thought how quiet he was. He had fallen asleep sitting up!

You are so much nicer than me. I declare that 12:30 is nap time, and put Porgie to bed regardless of whether she wants to sleep or not.

That's great! I have a bunch of zonk pictures of my kids like that too. They just won't give in to the nap. It's like they are going to miss something.
This is priceless! I have a couple of stubborn little ones, too. Although they're really not so little anymore!
