Ok, so here's some things I've noticed about Noggin...some are good....some not so good....which Zander makes me watch almost ALL of the time.......
1. I CANNOT stand Oswald. First of all, the voice of Oswald is done by Fred Savage. I can't stand his voice. When I hear it I just imagine spit in the corners of his mouth....not that he does this...his voice just sounds like he would. AND he sings on every show.....and that is painful to listen to.
Secondly, his dog's name is Weenie. So, its "Weenie this" and "Weenie that" and "Weenie, you're my best friend" oh, and here's one "Weenie needs a bath."
Lastly, they need to watch what they say. Its not like a child would pick up on this....but I don't like hidden meanings in these cartoons. One day Oswald was talking to someone about a piano and said "Nice wood." Ok, I know I'm mentally immature so my mind always immediately goes into the gutter...but seriously!!!
2. There is a new show coming on Noggin soon called......Toot and Puddles. What is with these names???? Why don't that just call it Poop and Pee.....or Shit and Piss.....Crap and Dribble? Ok, I'll stop now....

Me: I think Z has a crush on Stephanie. No matter if he is in the other room doing something or not...if he hears her he drops what he is doing and runs in the room to stare at her.
Mom: I don't know...remember he would do the same thing when Wilford Brimley's Liberty Medical commercial came on???
(Weird huh?)
4. Ok, Z watches Blue's Clues all the time - it is his favorite thing right now. Unfortunately, he likes Joe better than Steve! This saddens me.
I have several of these tivo'd for him so he can watch them whenever he wants. I generally don't pay attention to them. However, the other day, I looked up at the screen and saw this:
Is it just me....or do these sunflowers look like breasts????? I mean, what sunflowers have nipples?????
And what are up with his eyebrows???? Are these real???? Because they are huge!!!
Ok, I'm done ragging on Noggin for now......but Seriously!!! Here is Zander dancing to Lazytown's theme...he cannot hear this and not dance!!!

We don't get Noggin, but I LOVED lazytown... I nabbed their Wake Up song off itunes and it's what I use to torture the girls out of bed every morning.
Ok those really are ome huge eyebows. Surely they aren't real. surely. And those sunflowers... well they are boobish that's for sure.

My youngest is addicted to Noggin. Like you said, some of it is good, some of it not so good. I can't stand Yo Gabba Gabba. Everytime it comes on, I call it Yo Stupid Stupid:-)

My son loves him some Noggin, mostly Blue's Clues. He doesn't watch the other ones on your list and by the sounds of it, thank goodness! LOL

Well darn it...I didn't get any sound with mine hmmpff.
My oldest used to drop everything when the walmart smiley ball came on. He despises walmart now. If Lori gets Z I am going to have to throw myself on the floor...it is not pretty either!
Z and I even dance the same...no wonder hubby won't take me dancing any more huh?
I mean because an overweight 43 yr old is not cute spinning around drunkedly. I could just eat Z when he does it!
You are so funny Karla! I don't know too many of those shows--except for Blue's Clues and I think I've seen Osborne before. I definitely prefer Steve!

I loved the first guy on Blues Clues better - Steve? He was a lot more fun, the new one just creeps me out!
Ned will not watch Noggin hardly ever now, except for the occasional Miss Spider. He kind of has a thing for Dora too, so I don't think it is weird that Z has a thing for the girl in Lazytown. At least she is a real girl and not a cartoon!
He likes Joe better than Steve? That is crazy talk! The kids aren't allowed to watch the Joe episodes, because I am anti-Joe.

Hate Oswald. Hate Lazytown (sorry.) Love Steve's Blue's Clues...hate Joe. HATE Yo Gabba Gabba with a passion. My Noggin faves? Wubbzy and Dora. Thankfully my kids agree!

And Yo Gabba Gabba is so wrong on so many levels... how this show ever got the greenlight to be aired, I'll never know.
But, um... I hate to say I kinda like Oswald! Sorry! But I do agree with you that listening to Fred Savage "sing" is painful.

Lucky for me, Jackson doesn't know who "Joe" is...I only let him watch the Blues Clues with Steve. Nothing like manipulating your kid's opinions!!
