Ok, so I am the one getting organized.
They are the ones that got high on catnip (this is them in their afterglow):
I got a little head start to one of my New Year's resolutions. On New Years' Eve Eve my mom kept Zander so I could clean out my pantry.
I saw a nasty brown spider a few days before and it freaked me out. I thought maybe he might have come from my pantry so I wanted to clean it out. It was in horrible shape. I couldn't find anything anymore and had no idea what I had or what I needed.
Here is the before shot....I think I had already taken some stuff out before I remembered I needed to take this:
I kept getting 'help' that I didn't want and it was slowing me down.....
So I threw some catnip on the carpet in the living room.....VOILA....they were entertained!!!
Then they started playfighting and it made me laugh because they are sooo fat it was funny to see them rolling around.
It was actually kind of fun cleaning this out.
I cranked me up some Kanye West (and Britney Spears) and danced my way through cleaning out this pig sty.
Two hours later I ended up with one lawn trashbag full of expired stuff and a basket full of recycling (I'm still waiting on my recycle container from Midwest Waste - it was supposed to be delivered before Jan. 1st!!!! I'm STILL waiting!!!).
But, I also ended up with a nice neat pantry.
One little pantry down......the whole rest of the house to go!!!!

It is on my to do list as well...my to do list that is a mile and half long!
Isn't it great to see nice clean organized cupboards? You always find things you didn't know you had also! Cats are so funny whlie they are rolling around in catnip! Waht a carefree easy life they have!! lol

I HAVE to do that job about twice a year or we just get lost in the wasteland.
Do you know how many times I stand in front of that first picture and think to myself, mannnnnnn, there's nothing to eat.

Wow, those kitty cats are TANKS! Our youngest cat loves catnip--we call her Pothead Kitty because of her addiction. Glad you liked the Obama Post. I know there will be more as the administration gets going. And Michelle deserves her own post, don't you think?

Our pantry is pure chaos too. Except, I have absolutely no plans for cleaning it out.
Aww, that's much better. I just love when things are straight and organized. Now if the last of my Christmas gifts and odds and ends would find a home...
