My mom and I were looking for a card for a baby shower when we found one that reminded us both of Zander.....so I bought it to keep these words...
If he wins your heart the moment that his tiny life begins,
If he amuses you for hours with his giggles and his grins....
If he's the center of attention anywhere that you may go,
If he still looks like an angel even when he's saying "no".....
If his eyes are filled with wonder and he doesn't miss a thing,
If he knows just what he likes and rules your household like a king...
If he's the laughter and the joy that always gives your heart a lift,
Then you surely know a baby boy is life's most precious gift.
(Okay, I'm sure little girls are cool too...I just don't have a poem for them today!)

I love it and it is true for both...they both just melted my heart, rocked my world and filled me with endless love! Just the best feeling being a Mom and even better being a GiGi!
Sweet!! I got my daughter an "If for Girls" card for her b day in December...it made me cry when i read it
How sweet and how true. I love my boys to peices, but sometimes I miss the younger days. When they would kiss me anywhere in the world. Now I get that look ;(
