Easter Post 1: The Egg Hunt and the Loot

Did Zander have a good Easter? I'd say so....

This is what he wore to church today....and its about the only picture of this outfit before he got icing all over the shirt. He's not really a 'slacks and vest' kinda guy....so I didn't even bother.

After we ate a HUGE dinner we went outside for the Easter egg hunt! It was a little chilly this year....but I don't think Zander or Dara even noticed. Ella missed the egg hunt as she was taking a nap.

I love this next picture....he's looking at the plastic egg like he's never seen one before and it's the coolest thing ever!

Here he and Dara are going for the same egg....they are both oblivious to the fact there is another egg right between their feet.

I'm not sure what was wrong with the blue egg he's tossing aside.....

I think this is one of my favorite shots of the day.

He's running inside to count all of his eggs.

It looks like he picked up all of the yellow ones.

Here we asked Zander and Dara to show us all of the eggs they found...

Do you know what he's doing here?

He is opening every egg he found in the hopes there is candy inside.

There wasn't in any of these eggs.....

But Grandma gave him another basket which did contain eggs with candy....here he just said "Momma, open please."

So polite....every once in awhile.

Ahh....ring candy.

After everyone else left I gave him his Easter stuff from me.

It was too much for an Easter basket....so its in a 'party tub' (minus the beer).....

Soooo.....there was too much going on to take a nap.

He did go to bed early though.....hence the fact that my post is done on time.
