Tonight, as Zander was talking instead of sleeping, he said his 1st 3 word sentence.
Now his speech is usually a grunt or just one word that you can hardly understand. Except for "kitty". He is VERY serious about his kitties and says that word very clearly.
Anyway, we were laying in bed and I was willing him to go to sleep so I could get on the internet, and he was playing peek a boo with himself.
All of a sudden he said "I see you".
He said it clearly and he said it twice.
Just wanted to post about it in case it doesn't happen again for a few months.
Added to edit: So, the next morning I told my mom about this.
Mom: Oh, I think he has said that before.
Me: Oh! (disappointed)
Mom: No, wait! He hasn't said that before.
Me: Oh, really? (hopeful again)
Mom: No, he says "There it is." Remember, when he puts his puzzles together?
Me: OH YEAH! (lightbulb comes on)
Mom: Yeah, I guess he's been saying that for about 3 or 4 months now, huh?
(mommy brain strikes again)
Is nothing in this blog accurate???

Awe how sweet! I wish I would have kept a blogging journal when my kids were little. I can't remember all of the cute stuff they did and said. Now they are not cute and funny, just kinda funny:0
Sorry to hear about the zoo fiasco. Don't the little stinkers know just when to throw a tizzy? I would love to see a zoo that size. Denver has a nice zoo but I wouldn't know if it compared to anything because it is the only one I have ever visited.
I remember those days. Although I'm waiting for those days with my youngest. LOL
You can never be too careful about Kitties anyway - not sure where they are on the Homeland Security Scale.
Good to hear the first three words were something wholesome. I think my 14 year olds first words had something to do with the bathroom, but blogging technology required programming skills back then.
I know. I am so amazed at what my 2yo can say and do. Just wait--in a month he'll be saying everything under the sun. I love to see the natural development of children. It's so amazing!!
lol... I know what you mean.
You hear something so clearly and then there's nothing for months.
Way to go Zander. :)
