Well, I was weak AGAIN this week. I seemed to eat everything I wanted. Of course I felt guilty about it though.....does that help? No, probably not.
I did start Couch 2 5K last week. I've gotten 2 workouts under my belt now. Its hard for me because 1. I'm outta shape and 2. I have really bad shins. But, I'm trying to suck it up and hang in there.
So, I weighed in this morning and I lost 1 lb this week. Not as good as last week...but a loss is a loss in my book. Better than what it could have, and maybe should have, been.
So, I'm down 4 lbs total now. I think monitoring my weight frequently helps me to constantly be aware of my goal. It keeps me in check and serves as a depressing reminder of why I shouldn't eat whatever it is I'm craving at the moment. I'm hoping as I get into more of a workout routine my cravings will become less. We'll see...apparently my subconscious can be very belligerent.

A loss is definitely better than gain - in the matter of weight, anyway! You're doing good, keep it up. I think that I should join, I am stuck at the same weight and I hate it.
Like you said, a loss is a loss:-) Focus on the positives:-)
As for me, weighing myself consistently ends up having a defeating effect. So, I don't know if I am up or down but, I did work out every day this week. So, that's good:-)

A pound lost is better than a pound gained!!! Don't live by the scale though, you'll start noticing how clothes fit differently too. That always helps me realize that what I am doing is actually working!

I got frustrated and stayed away from the scale for a while. Finally got back on it and found that I'm at my target weight... either that or the kids have been messing with the dial on the scale again...

I am soooo mad at you! You read Twilight and lose 3 lbs. I read it and gain 1 lb. So nnnnoooowww your going to read them again?? I think that is cheating. I am going to have to go find her other book I think...I.am.addicted.
