Well, Monday was a crappy day. I cannot even say what crawled up my butt and died.....but it made me GROUCHY!!!! It was just a bad day at work.....I mean....seriously.....one CAN really ask a stupid question.....apparently, many people can.....I'm just sayin'........
I was excited that the Democratic National Convention started. I know....that sounds weird, right? Its not like a sporting event or anything......but lets get this show on the road already. I honestly CANNOT wait for the debates. It just seems like all of this has been dragging on for years. Doesn't it? Or is it just me. Probably because I can't wait for Bush to get out of office.....so I guess it has taken about 7.5 years so far!!!!
It was good that Teddy Kennedy was able to speak last night. He didn't look so good but you could tell he really wanted to be there. Chris Matthews said it best when he said "This is new to us....we're seeing a Kennedy grow old." Let me just add "Finally!".
On a good note, I paid $3.26/gal for gas over the weekend. It keeps creeping down slowly. I heard on radio yesterday that Missouri is considerably below the national average right now because demand for it here is way down. Uh, yeah, I guess that would be true for me. I'm too poor to go anywhere....so might as well keep my butt at home. But, its got a LONG way to go before I will consider the gas prices okay again.....it will probably never get to where I think they are ok....considering the national average was $1.46 when Bush took office.
I bought a little wooden chair for $10 off Craig's List this weekend. I bought it to go with the little wooden desk I bought Z for $5 off Craig's List a few weeks ago. They are going to look so darn cute when I repaint them.....yep, I created another project for myself.
Ok, so I posted a week or so ago that my blog wasn't good enough to be mediocre. Well, apparently it is!!! I'm now listed on AllMediocre! Its a great place to find other blogs. I swear though, I have a hard enough time now keeping up.....but I'm trying.
So, I just want to apologize to everyone now if I don't always get back to you. I am trying to make a good effort. There are so many wonderful blogs by so many wonderful people.....and I just want to know all of you. However, my J-O-B and my K-I-D take up a lot of time....and they are pretty important too.....especially that K-I-D.

I enjoyed the convention last night too--especially Teddy (my son is named after him!) and Michelle. I also liked M's brother's intro.

The little desk and chair sound cute. I get in crafty moods, where I want to make things and be productive. I was at the craft store returning a scrapbook yesterday, and I was looking at all the beads for jewelery. And now I am seriously considering learning how to make my own jewelery. I am a dork.

I watched the DNC last night and I plan on watching the rest --- and then I will watch the RNC next week -- I want to be an informed voter --- you are right though this campaign seems to have been going on for years and years!!!
