It's "Save The Animals" Wednesday

Ok, I made that up.....but perhaps I'm on to something. There is more petition signing to be done and I hope you'll join me so that together we can make some changes happen.

There are 3 petitions today:

End U.S. Military's Policy of Killing Soldiers' Pets (let's nip this in the bud once and for all)
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/change-military-policy-about-animals

Sad News for Alaska's Wolves - But You Can Help http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/477616584?z00m=17436947

If you need further convincing that aerial wolf and bear hunting needs to stop, please see this video. Warning: its a brutal one to watch.
(Another disclaimer: it does talk about Sarah Palin's record on this subject. The commercial was made by Defenders of Wildlife. It does show the act of aerial wolf hunting though, which is my point....I'm not trying to bash Palin....I don't need to do that...its already obvious I'm an Obama Mama anyway!)

Protect Raccoon Dogs - Stop Deceptive Labeling of "Faux" Fur!
(yeah, you only THOUGHT you were wearing fake fur)
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/141079863.

Please take the time to sign each of these petitions.
Much appreciated as always!
God made these animals. They are living breathing creatures. They have feelings the same as we do. We should not think ourselves superior because they don't have opposable thumbs or the ability to speak our language. It is a reflection on our humanity as to how we treat them.

Dear Obama Mama: You Rock! But you knew that already, didn't ya? Thanks for calling attention to these really important issues. OK, off to watch Barack's 30 Minutes of Fame. I'll expect a complete analysis from you tomorrow!
