Tough Times!

There is turmoil in the world.
No, I'm not talking about the war in Iraq.
No, not the economy.
No, I'm talking about football. More specifically Rams football. Yes, I know.....its been YEARS since they have been the 'Greatest Show on Turf'. But, I'm a St. Louisan and I am loyal to my team.
Zander wore his little jersey to church about 3 weeks ago.....basically just to wear it before he grew out of it.....which could be any day now!
Whose jersey does he have? #10.

Who is #10 you ask?

Mark Bulger......our QB! He's the one getting sacked every Sunday....

Little did we know that right after Z wore his jersey....he would be BENCHED!!!!
Ahhh....but the Rams lost the next Sunday too!
So.....then our head coach got fired!!!! And Bulger was reinstated as our starting QB!
Last week was a bye week.....hopefully things have settled down and someone is working on figuring out how the Rams can win at least 1 game this season!

3 tidbits to add:
1. Zander got a haircut after those photos.....I was trying to let it grow....but his hair didn't get longer....it got poofier!!!
2. I know I may be in the minority here....but I miss Mike Martz as our head coach!
3. Did that cookie look pretty good that Z was eating? Its a Snickerdoodle. If you want to know how to make them....go to my recipe blog here.....or click on the cow button on the upper left sidebar. We're heading into Snickerdoodle season!!! Yummy!!!

Sounds like being a Rams fan is about like being a Vikings fan... painful.

I love snickerdoodles.. the girls love making them... we're going to have to do that this weekend!

Sorry about your team -- hopefully they'll turn around.

A suggestion for Zander's hair.....my son has really thick hair but wanted it longer. As we were growing it out I said something about it being poofy to his barber and she thinned it out with thinning sheers and it was soooooo much better. She does it every time she cuts his hair.

I have to be honest with you, and I don't think you'll take it the wrong way. To me this post was *blah blah blah ZANDER PICTURE! ZANDER PICTURE! blah blah* :) What can I say, not a pro football fan but I'm definitely a Z fan!

I feel for ya! Every time I watch their highlights (or should I say low lights LOL) I cringe!

Can't wait to see Z's haircut. If poofier looks anything like my son's hair does right now...

Carter and I love to bake...we just did cupcakes together...he practiced sprinkle techniques...it's all in the wrist!
Love snicker doodles...we will try them out!

See, that's why I only watch college football. It's much more fun when the athletes aren't being paid to play. They are playing for the love of the game (and the desire to be paid to play!)

I guess all I have to say is I'm a Bronco fan. It's pure torture every year. Maybe this year they will do something really cool. I keep forgetting to tell you, I need that cat door. I didn't know they made fat cat doors!

Z could wear a towel and be way cool in my book.
