Getting my groove back

Things have been busy here:

I've been back in the house for about 2 weeks now. Mostly everything is unpacked although I'm still organizing things.

Some of my stuff that was taken to storage was lost or thrown away (more likely stolen, but I do have trust issues).

After I moved back into my house, Zander's biological father came to stay with us for 4 days. I let him stay here so he wouldn't have to pay for a hotel. The longest and most miserable 4 days of my life. A.W.K.W.A.R.D!!!! (Maybe I'll post more on this later....)

My laptop finally kicked the bucket....so I'm typing this out on my new laptop now. I still think Vista sucks. So far I'm still an XP junkie. When is Windows 7 coming out, again?

My dog, Anakin, is having his surgery this week to remove his bladder stones (I pray all goes well).

I've gained about 20lbs since I started living with my parents. I am a total stress eater. It wasn't so stressful because I have issues with my parents....it was just the living situation topped off by all of the incompetency I had to endure to get back into my house. Some people seriously cannot go to bed at night and think they accomplished anything that day....seriously!

I've decided to let my hair grow. How long? I don't know....it grows slow though....so I don't have to decide that for awhile.

My air conditioner stopped working yesterday. Didn't I have this same problem last year? Well, now I have the new windows that lock and everything, so I can use my attic fan until I get the a/c fixed. Thank you, God!!! (It actually got cold in my house last night.)

I'm sure there is more. But, at the end of the day, I'm just happy to be at home.

I contemplated on whether or not to start up blogging again. I got used to not signing onto my blog and updating it. It was nice to have the extra time.

However, I started thinking about why I started this blog in the first place. It was because my short term memory sucks and I don't want to forget these important days in Zander's life.

He is talking ALL of the time now. And he says some really funny things. And he does some really funny things. He's my absolute joy and I want to write it all down so I don't forget.

So, I know I'm not a fancy writer like many of the bloggers out there I adore....but I want to keep writing about my favorite subject.

So.....blog I will....even if no one reads it but me. Because I think I lost all my followers. ;)

And, for your viewing pleasure.....I present to you.....Zander and his stickers.....that I told him to ONLY put on the yellow cardboard paper I gave him.

See how well he listens to me?

Oh Karla I have missed you immensely. So glad you're back in the house I know that has to be a huge relief. And that Zander is something else. He is getting so big. You better keep blogging or I am going to be sending daily emails for updates and pictures.

I'm still here too! Maybe one day I'll start blogging again too instead of just reading blogs. I'm not inspired to write right now.

Hi Karla, I'm back too... couldn't afford a new pc, got my spare fixed.

Glad things are returning to normality for you too.

Zander DID listen to you... Since when has a man done what a woman tells him: :-) Just because he is little (and growing I might add) he is still the same species.

And I wouldn't dare to tell you where Erick stuck those transfer tattoo thingies, Zander might just read it.
